Meetings and Membership

How do you become a member of the Norfolk Lions Club?
Any one of our current members can invite you as a guest to attend a dinner meeting and sponsor you into our club as a new member.

Are there any annual dues or fees?
Annual dues are currently $100.00.

When and where do you have your meetings?
Our year begins in September and runs through June. We have a monthly dinner meeting at 7:30pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Our dinner meetings are held at the Horse and Carriage Restraunt on Route 1A in Norfolk. The members who are more actively involved in the club, such as the officers and committee chairmen, also meet at the Eaglebrook on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We do not have any meetings over the summer in July and August.

How much does the dinner meeting cost?
This year the cost of the dinner including salad, main course, desert, coffee and tip is $25.00. There is also a prepayment plan available to save even more on the dinner costs.

Are there any social events that include spouses?
Yes, although our club is a service club (as opposed to a social club), we certainly do have a lot of fun together! Every year we plan for several social events including a Christmas party, our annual Installation Dinner for the new officers in June, and a summer barbecue.

Please email us at Norfolk Lions Club for more information.
