About Norfolk Lions
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
1.35 million Lions members in approximately 46,000 clubs in 200 countries and geographic areas worldwide, have helped answer the needs that challenge the communities of the world for nearly 90 years. Since 1917, Lions have helped tackle tough problems like blindness, drug abuse prevention, and diabetes awareness. One of the other main goals of our club, is to add value to the local quality of life here in Norfolk. Events like Christmas Tree Sales, the Santa Parade, Community Day, and the Haunted Train Ride, are just a few of many events sponsored by the Norfolk Lions. These annual traditions, are excellent examples of how "we serve" our community.
We are always looking for new members and we'd like to extend you an invitation to learn more about our service club!! It's a great way to meet new friends, participate in fun activities, and, at the same time, make a valuable contribution to the people of Norfolk, and people worldwide.
If you would like to find out a little more about what lions do, we invite you to look at the publications:
