German ist der besten language, for these reasons: German teachers that i know (and i know, like 4) all have the same basic crazyness, but the same basic niceness. It is this nicenesss that allows a student to not feel bad for speaking in butchered German (see my autobiography, to the left up there). But that's not all. Some German teachers give you food, especially chocolate, because the Germans make that very well. And also, if you go on the German exchange, keep in mind that the land famous for beer has a legal drinking age of 14. (woo-hoo!) That and the fact that the Germans never left the 80s, which means their music is funky and so are their clothes...but hey, i still listen to the Squeeze.....i have nuthin to complain about. : ) |
