Toffee Kisses

 

Ingredients:

All-Purpose Flour

Butter, Cut Into Slices

English Toffee Bits Or Almond Brickle Chips

Directions:

Sift flour, cornstarch, and salt onto a sheet of wax paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium-high until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture, then the toffee bits or almond chips, blending well.

Transfer to a work surface. Divide the dough in half and roll each half between sheets of wax paper into a circle 1/8 thick. Chill the disks for about 2 hours or until firm.

Preheat the oven to 325F. Lightly grease baking sheets.

Remove the top sheet of wax paper and cut out cookies with a 2 cookie cutter. Place cookies about 1 apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until pale brown on bottom. Cool on wire racks. Repeat with remaining cookie dough.
