1 Cup Butter

8 Ounces Cream Cheese

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

2 Tbsp Sugar

1/2 Tsp Salt

2 Tsp Baking Powder

2 Medium Eggs, Beaten

Cherry , Apricot, Raspberry, Orange Or Strawberry Jam


 In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the butter and cream cheese until well blended.

Sift the flour with the sugar, salt and baking powder. Work into creamed mixture; then add the beaten eggs, mixing to form stiff dough. Chill for 30 minutes or until firm enough for rolling.

Roll out one quarter of the dough at a time on a lightly floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 1-1/2 inch rounds, with your thumb make an indentation in center of dough. Fill the depression with jam. Place on ungreased cookie sheet an inch apart. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
