Oatmeal Molasses Cookies

Ingredients:

Molasses

All-Purpose Flour

Quick Cooking Oats (Not Instant)

Raisins

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease cookie sheets.

Combine sugar, oil, molasses and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed of an electric beater until smooth. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.

Add to sugar mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and raisins.

Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls on prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove cookies to wire racks, and let cool completely.
