Italian Whiskey Balls

Canned orange juice or juice of one fresh orange

Almond extract

Walnuts, chopped

Frosting (optional)

Milk

Powdered sugar

Directions:

Beat together butter, sugar, spices, cocoa, eggs, and orange juice at medium speed for minutes. Add flour and baking powder (omit baking powder if using self rising flour). Mix well. Fold in walnuts. Take dough out and shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350. Cool on a cookie rack.
Frosting (optional)
Combine all frosting ingredients in a bowl until well mixed and of a thin consistency. Dip tops of cookies into frosting and place on wire racks to set
