Layers of Love Brownies

 

Ingredients:

All-purpose flour

Cup

Baking cocoa

Tsp

salt

Cup

Butter, cut in pieces

Cup

Granulated sugar

Cup

Brown sugar, packed

Vanilla extract

Pecans or walnuts, chopped

Cup

White chocolate morsels or pieces

Cup

Caramel ice cream topping

Cup

Semi-sweet chocolate morsels or pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F, Grease a 8 square cake pan.

Combine flour, cocoa, and salt in a small bowl.

Using a hand mixer beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix well. Gradually add in flour mixture. Reserve cup of batter. Spread remaining batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle nuts and white morsels over batter in pan. Drizzle caramel topping over top.

Beat remaining egg and reserved batter together until light in color. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Spread evenly over batter.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into 16 squares.
