Honey Cookies

 

Ingredients:

Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed

Cup

Honey

Egg

Cup

Butter, softened

1/3

Cup

Raisins

Cup

Walnuts Or Pecans, Finely Chopped

Cup

All-Purpose Flour

Tsp

Baking Powder

Tsp

Mace

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350. Grease 2 cookie sheets.

Mix together the brown sugar, honey, egg and butter, beating well with an electric mixer.

In a small bowl mix together the nuts, raisins and cup of the flour, tossing to coat. Stir the raisin-nut mixture, the flour and the baking powder into the creamed mixture. Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2 apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
