Braised Beef in Cream

Crispy Oat Drops

Ingredients:

Butter, Softened

Sugar

Cup

Light Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed

Large Egg

All-Purpose Flour

Cup

Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

Cream Of Tartar

Tsp

Baking Soda

Tsp

Salt

1-3/4

Semi-Sweet Mini Baking Chips

Toasted Rice Cereal

Cup

Pecans Or Walnuts, Chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a large bowl beat sugar, butter, and light brown sugar, with an electric mixer, until light and fluffy; Beat in egg.

In a medium bowl combine flour, oats, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; blend flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in semi-sweet baking chips, rice cereal, and pecans. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.

Store in airtight container.
