Cocoa Snickerdoodles

 

Ingredients:

Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed

Uncooked Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

All-Purpose Flour

Cup + 2 tbl

Unsweetened Cocoa

Tsp

Baking Soda

Ground Cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

Beat butter, brown sugar, and cup sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs; mix well. Combine oats, flour, cup cocoa and the baking soda in a medium bowl. Stir into butter mixture until blended. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar, the cinnamon and 2 tablespoons cocoa in a small bowl. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into cinnamon mixture; toss to coat. Place 2 apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until firm in center. Do not overbake. Remove to wire racks to cool.
