Chocolate Nut Cookies

 

Ingredients:

Butter, Softened

Cup

Sugar

Cup

Light Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed

Vanilla

Baking Soda

All-Purpose Flour

Chocolate Covered Peanuts, Walnuts Or Pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or leave ungreased.

With an electric mixer, cream the butter, sugar, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in baking soda and salt. Stir in flour to make stiff dough. Blend in chocolate covered nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 apart onto cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until just barely golden. Do not overbake. Remove to wire rack to cool.
