1 Tablespoon Of Vanilla
2 Pounds Of Confectioner Sugar
1-1/2 Cups Mini Real Semisweet Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Shortening
Work mixture with a fork until well mixed. Shape into a big ball. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Microwave morsels and shortening in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; Stir. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted
Remove candy from refrigerator and roll into walnut sized balls. Dip into Chocolate.
***Chocolate Buttercreams: Add 3 Ounces of unsweetened chocolate. Mix into above mixture.
