Bourbon Balls 3


1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup sugar

3 tbsp corn syrup

1/2 cup bourbon (Kalula may also be used)

2-1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers

1 cup chopped walnuts

1/3 cup confectioners sugar


In a bowl, heat chocolate chips in microwave for 1 mintue, Stir, then heat for an additional 20-30 seconds, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in sugar and corn syrup. Blend in bourbon. Add vanilla wafers and chopped nuts. Mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate. When firm, roll mixture into bite-size balls. Roll balls in a mixture of chopped nuts and/or confectioners sugar. Store in a covered container.
