Sour Cream Choco-Bit Cake



6 Tbsp Butter

1 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

1-1/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1-1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Cinnamon

1 Cup Sour Cream (1 Pint)

6 Ounces Semi Sweet Chocolate Bits

1 Tbsp Sugar


Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, beat butter with the 1 cup sugar until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in sour cream and pour batter into prepared pan.

Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over batter; then sprinkle with the 1 tablespoon sugar.

Bake for 35 minutes or until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan.
