Kiss Me Cake

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.

Juice the orange and reserve juice for later. Cut the orange up into pieces. Grind together, in a food processor or food chopper using a coarse blade, the orange peel, raisins, and 1/3 cup of the nuts.

Sift the flour with 1 cup of sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Add the butter and milk and blend well using an electric mixer. Add the eggs and blend again. Stir in the orange nut mixture from the food chopper and mix again. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until cake springs back in center when you touch it with your finger.

Remove pan to a wire rack to cool

Drizzle the reserved orange juice over the warm cake. Combine the 1/3 cup sugar, the remaining chopped walnuts and the cinnamon, sprinkle over cake.
