Sourdough Biscuits

 

Ingredients:

Cup

Sponge (Sour Dough Starter)

Tbl

Vegetable Oil

1

Cup

All-Purpose Flour

Tsp

Flour

Tsp

Baking Powder

Tsp

Baking Soda

Tsp

Salt

Directions:

In a large bowl mix the starter and oil. In a separate, medium bowl sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to the starter mix, stirring to combine well. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until thick. Cut with a 2 cookie cutter, and place on a greased baking sheet to rise for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425F. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
