Quickie Creamy Caramel Pecan Rolls

 

Ingredients:

Cup

Confectioners Sugar

1/3

Cup

Whipping Cream

Cup

Pecans, Coarsely Chopped

Cup

Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed

Tbl

Cinnamon

16 oz

Frozen White Bread Dough, Thawed

Butter, melted

Raisins (Optional)

Directions:

Grease two 9x1 round baking pans.

In a small bowl stir together confectioners sugar and whipping cream; divide evenly between the two pans. Sprinkle the pecans over the sugar mixture.

In a small bowl stir together brown sugar and cinnamon; set aside. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each loaf of dough into a 12x8 rectangle. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar-cinnamon mixture. If using, sprinkle with raisins.

Roll up each rectangle starting from the long end and seal the seams. Slice each toll into 12 pieces, Place pieces, cut sides down, on topping in pans. Cover; let rise in a warm place until almost doubled, about 30 minutes.

Bake in a 375 oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, if necessary to prevent over-browning, cover with foil for last 10 minutes for baking. Cool in pans for 5 minutes on wire rack. Carefully invert rolls onto a serving platter. Serve warm.
