Cranberry Buttermilk Muffin Mix in a Jar



1/2 Cup Sugar

2 1/2 Cups Flour

1 Cup Dried Cranberries

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Wash and thoroughly dry a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.

Layer the ingredients in the jar as listed above, starting with the sugar on the bottom, then flour, cranberries, ginger, baking powder, baking soda and finally salt. Press each ingredient layer firmly into place with a flat-bottomed object (like a large plastic cup) before adding the next. Secure the lid. Add a bow and a directions card plus a muffin tin!


In a large bowl combine buttermile

1 cup Buttermilk

cup Melted Butter

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

On a large bowl combine buttermilk, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add contents of jar and stir until combined.

Spoon batter into greased or paperlined muffin tins, filling each cup 2/3 full.

Bake for 15 minutes or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cook completely..
