These should be a considered a primary acquisition for the aspiring student of Hermetics.

Frabato the Magician - A psuedo-autobiography penned by one of Bardon's students under his personal direction. It is valuble as an inspiring introduction.

Initiation Into Hermetics - The foundation of the Hermetic system composed of a theoretical Introduction and Ten Steps of practical exercises for personal development.

The Practice of Magical Evocation - The first third of this book consists of a thorough treatment of the apparatus, symbolism, and methodology of evocation. The rest of the book contains a catalogue of spiritual hierarchies and sigils.

The Key to the True Kabbalah - A treatise on Qabalistic Mysticism with an emphasis on the practical application of Qabalistic formulae.

THE WORKS OF YOGI RAMACHARAKA

A library of works written in the early 20th Century. They complement and elucidate many aspects of
Initiation into Hermetics.

Fourteen Lessons in Yogi Philosophy - The introduction to the series. Yogi Ramacharaka expounds the seven principles of the human being and other ideas which largely parallel the the theoretical portion of Initiation into Hermetic.

Advanced Cource in Yogi Philosophy - The sequel to the above book. It contains the complete text and a commentary on the channelled work "Light upon the Path" by Mabel Collins. It also provides a more detailed treatment of some of the subjects introduced in the previous volume.

Hatha Yoga or The Science of Physical Well-Being - A treatise on natural living with a focus on the use and distribution of Prana. This book complements the magical schooling of the physical body.

Raja Yoga or The Science of Mental Development - A treatise on meditation and thought control. This book complements the magical schooling of the spirit.

Gnani Yoga or The Yoga of Wisdom - Less practical than the previous two works, this treatise expounds elements of traditional occult philosophy.

Philosophy and Religions of India - A thorough treatment of the philosophical and religious systems of India. Includes teaching concerning the Samkhya and Vedanta systems, Sufism, Buddhism, and orthodox religions.

The Science of Psychic Healing - Concerns the mobilization of thought-force and prana for the curing of mental, physical, and spiritual ailments.

Mystic Christianity or The Inner Teachings of the Master - An esoteric interpretation of the teachings of Jesus and traditional occult teachings regarding the origins of Christianity.

The Life Beyond Death - A treatise on the death experience based traditional occult teacings and the author's own explorations of the astral realm.

The Science of Breath - A complete manual of the Oriental breathing philosophy of physical, mental, psychic, and spiritual development. Contains numerous practical exercises.

OTHER WORKS OF POTENTIAL INTEREST

Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage - A classic grimoire that very likely influenced Bardon's simple approach to practical magic as well as his teachings on the Holy Guardian Angel.

Seven Hermetic Letters by Dr. Georg Lomer - A serialized compendium of mystical exercises. Bardon had these translated into Czech for the benefit of his students.

Sexual Magic by Pascal Beverly Randolph - A potential source for Bardon's teachings regarding sexual polarity and fluid condensers.

The Kybalion by Three Initiates - A study of the Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece. It contains an exposition of traditional hermetic aphorisms.

Mind Power: The Secret of Mental Magic by William Walker Atkinson - A classic of the New Thought movement. Atkinson translates complex occult symbolism, philosophy, and practices, into a language easily comprehensible to the non-specialized reader.
