DISCUSSION E-LIST ON THE TEACHINGS OF FRANZ BARDON

Franz Bardon was a Czechoslovakian magician who lived from 1909 to 1958. According to the traditional legend, his spirit incarnated within the body of a 16 year old boy as an answer to the prayer of that boy's father to possess the guidance of a spiritual teacher. In his early years, Bardon worked as a stage magician by the name of Frabato, using his magical abilities to mesmerize audiences while simultaneously instructing them in basic occult principles and teachings. He was imprisoned within a concentration camp during his thirties, due to his interest in the occult, and he later emerged as a spiritual teacher and healer of notable talent. Franz Bardon was ordained by Divine Providence to reveal the Mysteries of Occultism in a form readily comprehensible to the general public, such that all may (at least potentially) reap the benefits of Occult Knowledge. He accomplished this task in the form of 3 books entitled "Initiation into Hermetics," "The Practice of Magical Evocation," and "The Key to the True Kabbalah." These successively explain the Mysteries of the first, second, and third Keys of the Tarot, as Bardon understood them. Altogether his teachings can be said to comprise the quintessence of Pre-Golden Dawn Magick.
