Know
what it is to be a child?... It is to believe in love, to believe in loveliness,
to believe in belief; it is to be so little that the elves can reach to
whisper in your ear; it is to turn pumpkins into coaches, and mice into
horses, lowness into loftiness, and nothing into everything, for each child
has its fairy godmother in its soul.
Babies smiles are bits of heaven. This pic reminds me of when our kids were small. They've certainly grown but I'm still just as addicted to their smiles as ever! (Dustin says, "Thanks Mom." )
A
couple of really cool things about living in the country
We
have a tobogganing hill TO DIE FOR in our front yard.
We
got to watch a baby cow be born right beside our house. The boys
were totally impressed.
We
have a nest of Starling eggs in our mailbox which has made mail retrieval
a little more challenging but it's been exciting to go out and count the
eggs from time to time with the kids.
We
got our new dog, Pookie.
I
don't have to walk the kids to school in the rain anymore or push a stroller
through wet snow because they take the bus. Ironically, they leave
the house about ten minutes later than they did when we were in the city
which also means we get to spend a little more time easing into the day.
The
kids have a huge yard to play in and trees to climb.
We
have a lake down the street(which I look forward to swimming in this summer).
No
one cares if you BLARE your music.
Fewer
restrictions on pets.
Woodpeckers are just
WAY too cool.
A
couple of really cool things about living in the city
Being
able to walk to the store in under an hour. Heck being able to walk
ANYWHERE in under an hour!(lol)
There's
almost always a park nearby

Restaurants
Nice Things
