The easy bit ... draw the outline with a normal lead pencil.
To add the different shades of green for the grass you must be very light handed so as not to pull the previous layers off.
Once again the layering of paint has to be done to get some depth on the leaves and the hollyhocks.
The addition of the otter and water was quite easy. The highlights of the otter were done by very carefully scraping off some of the paint with a very sharp crafts knife.
The badger on this section of the mug caused me more trouble than the whole rest of the mug put together. But as you can see below I did it in the end.
