R/C Modelling is a big family hobby that we all enjoy. Building
and flying model airplanes is great fun and a great way to spend
time with your family. Ron is a member of the Billings Flying
Mustangs club. He flies RCCA combat, pylon races and flies
sport and scale planes as well, including the P-47. On this page you will find
links to photos of planes Ron has built and is buildng, photos
of real WWII Warbirds, updates on contests he has entered and links to
other great R/C Modelling sites.
On this Java Image Carousel you can see photos of the old fleet of P-51 mustangs and the TA-152. You can go here to see some photos of the combat planes from past years. To see them
Ron has recently completed a D190 scale plane that turned out just great.
Here are some photos of the completed P47. It looks beautiful in flight and is so much fun to watch!! Ron did a great job on it! Click on any of the thumbnail photos to see the pictures full size.
Ron is also working on a Top Flight Giant Scale P47!
Here are some photos of real WWII Warbirds, and they are definitely
beautiful to behold! Click on the thumbnail photos to see the big picture.

There are many great R/C links on the Internet and more are being
added every day. On the table below, you will find links to some of our
favorite sites. The R/C Combat site is an excellent site for all those
who fly or are interested in learning about 1/12 scale combat. The site
has pictures, a contest calendar, a soapbox to talk to other pilots
and much more! R/C Excellence Magazine is now the official magazine
for Combat! It is filled with helpful articles and contest reports. Be sure
and check it out! The Billings Flying Mustangs is the club we are members
of, and it is a great one. Be sure to check out their website as well!
