Amateur Geologists web-ring
Terms for use/membership
Membership is open to individual geologists; "Not-for-profit" Societies or Clubs catering for amateurs may also join. Professional or Academic geologists are not excluded from membership.
Members' web-sites should be educational rather than commercial. They can be about your local geology, own collecting interests, pictures of specimens in your collection, or events that you are organising for the benefit of others. The main purpose of sites in the Ring should be to provide free information to others, rather than to sell specimens or services.
All sites in the ring should be suitable for viewing by people of all ages.
The copyright of the information and images on members' web-sites should be respected.
Members have to install the Navigation Bar on to the page they registered with the Web Ring. Failure to do this may mean Yahoo cancels that membership at a later date.
If you find that sites in the web-ring are unsuitable or abusing the aims of the ring please inform the Ring-Master.
This Web-Ring aims to encourage individual amateur geologists to create web sites, the free exchange of geological information and those who wish to help amateurs by sharing their knowledge and experience.
