Daniel Rosenberger & FronicaHe was born around 1715, died around 1771. He was a wealthy Mennonite (Line Lexington church), owning land on the two branches of the Nesaminy River .David was born ca. 1749 and died 1829. Anna Funk was the daughter of the Rev. Christian Funk and the granddaughter of pioneer Bishop Henry Funck and Anna Moyer, daughter of Christian Moyer. Bishop Funk, who emigrated in 1719, owned a large plantation on Indian Creek and land at Blooming Glen and Unionville. He preached at the Lower Salford Mennonite Church and helped in the translation of Martyr's Mirror, as well as writing two religious books of his own. His wife died in 1758 and he died in 1760; they had ten children. His son and Anna's father, Christian (1731-1811), married Barbara Cassell (daughter of Julius Cassel) in 1757 and they had nine children. Christian got in trouble with his church for being too "liberally minded toward the Revolutionists" in the Revolutionary War and was put under the ban. He published an account of his troubles in 1809 in "A Mirror for all Mankind" and died two years later. (from History of Franconia Township, J. Y. Heckler) According to the Mennonite Encyclopedia, he was "a vigorous and intelligent leader with foresight and ability, but somewhat lacking in humility and patience." Children: Christian, David, Philip, Abraham, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann and Daniel.
