Broccoli & Potato Cheese Bake

MilkFlour
Generous Knob of ButterWhite sauce
4-6oz Cheese if cheese sauce wanted

Method
Pre heat oven to 190°C

My Comments 1st
I have not in this recipe included amounts as created this one night as I went along not using scales! The ingrediants are there for the white sauce already, you just need to follow the method.

¼ some potatoes enough to feed those you are preparing for,
Break away the heads (florets) of the broccoli and save.

boil the potatoes you quarterd for 15mins. Then place to boil the broccoli until cooked. Take off the heat both the potatoes and broccoli. Depending on the broccoli will take from 5 to 10mins maybe. Tip these both should be soft to eat not hard. Yea go on taste some otherwise you won't know if they are cooked until you start the meal. In time experience will tell you. Just remember be hygenic wash your hands etc.
In the 1st 10mins while the potatoes are boiling If you want a cheese sauce grate about 4-6oz cheese more or less if you want in a bowl or plate.

When you put the broccoli on to cook start to make White sauce

Now you are busy the broccoli is nearly finished cooking the milk is coming to the boil 'Arrrr' don't panic it is possible I've done this meal. Simply turn the heat off from the veg and as the milk comes to the boil and carry on with the white sauce.

Place the potatoes and broccoli in a ovenproof dish mixed up and then pour over the white or cheese sauce you just made and then place in the pre heated oven for 20 to 30 mins until the cheese sauce browns, not sure white sauce does not tried with white sauce!!

Now once taken out of the oven serve up and enjoy.

you might want to serve with other veg if you like we had enough for 3 generous portions so didn't
