Here are my twin 1964 Plymouth Fury's which are my daily fair weather drivers. Neither car has been restored and they are both mostly original except for the paint. The Sport Fury 'sports' it's original 361 big block and the 4 door's 318 poly is also factory original.
I bought the Sport Fury in 2002. I plan to rebuild the motor and add front disk brakes. The only other modification I have made so far is the addition of electronic ignition and dual exhaust.
Tired of buying parts for the Sport Fury one at a time on Ebay, I thought "What if I could find a whole parts car?" Well I did find one, except after paying $650.00 for it I was amazed to find that it was a fantastic daily driver and couldn't part it out. After 10 years of sitting it only need a new fuel system and front speaker and the '64 four door rolls down the road looking as good as new.
People can't believe their eyes when they see one of these babies with its chrome molding and timeless lines. The 4 door's push button transmission is a favorite.
Looking in my driveway you would think you were back in 1964, now if I only had room for a '64 Fury station wagon.
