| Barbieholics 12-Steps "Program" 1. Focus on a particular type/style and only buy that if you must buy. 2. Find a flaw in a doll you think you might want - or find several flaws. 3. Stay away from eBay and other sites where you might be tempted. 4. Do a chant and heel-click routine which will remind you not to buy. 5. Eat your favorite treat instead. 6. Delete Barbie-related bookmarks. 7. Limit your time on the computer, and your Barbie money. 8. Plan ahead for next year instead of buying now - remember that Barbie isn't going anywhere. 9. Hide credit/charge cards. 10. Hire someone to slap your hands if you start to buy a doll. 11. Tell yourself that a better deal will come along every time you start to buy. 12. Discuss your tentative purchase with friends before you buy - maybe they'll talk you out of it! These funny yet painfully helpful "steps", were a joint project by the Dollpage.Com "regulars". Sarah, Cynthia, Monica, Sweetpea, the Phantom, SpellBee, Terr ific, Curtis and "yours truly".
