Phew! More than a year since my last update! I was going to let this page go the way of the dinosaur, since I've had no indication that anyone even visits, but I received the following mail from Alex yesterday:
Well! If a S:AABer was impressed enough with a site to take the trouble and email me, I figure I'd better get off my lazy b*tt and do something about it! :p So there you are. The Fan-Fiction Flightdeck, folks, created by DrkNite - besides fanfic, there's a pictorial episode guide, greeting cards, writers' resources, and all kinds of good stuff. A site I fully recommend as well.
04 January 98 - 10 January 98
Hmmm... what with RL butting its head in where it's not wanted, I guess I'll have to list sites here as and when I can... To make up for lost time, here're 3 sites every S:AABer should check out. The S:AABer's Realm by DB, which includes updated S:AAB news and fan fiction, is the official website of those S:AABers who frequent Fox's S:AAB Message Board (yep! that board is still around!). Next, Simon's Space: Above and Beyond UK Homepage is a *great* site with loads of info on the show. And last but definitely not least is Joel de la Fuente's Official Homepage by Dennis Paulsen where you can even get to chat with Joel himself!
Note: It appears that Jinny J. Harris's Morgan Weisser page (showcased 21 Sep 97) has disappeared off the face of the Web. If anyone knows where it's gone to, *please* let me know!
19 October 97 - 25 October 97
Ack. Late again! This is really turning out into a once-per-two-weeks thing. My choice this time is the Space: Above and Beyond Guide by Korean S:AABer David Dycus. Again, a nicely designed site, though some links don't work yet.
5 October 97 - 11 October 97
Well, I've gone and done it already. What with doing the World Roster and all, I've skipped a site recommendation for last week. So sue me. :) Anyway, my pick for this week (yeah yeah I know, I'm two days late already... which means I'll probably skip next week...hmmm that's an idea... perhaps I'll make this once every two weeks)...er, as I was saying, my pick for this week is the newly designed 57th Crusaders Squadron Headquarters by Paul 'Fox' Penkala. Nice design and all that. :)
21 September 97 - 28 September 97
Alright. I'm going to start off this project by listing 2 sites - one from the ring, one from the queue. From the Ring, Kristian Sorensen talks about his appearances as (what else?) a Chig on his highly entertaining site: The Official CHIG Headquarters. My pick from the Ring queue this week goes to Jinny J. Harris's Morgan Weisser page - this site is really very nicely done, with loads of information.
Enjoy!!
