History: Mazer was born on Ryloth into the Tarkona Clan. Tales say just like the Ryl meaning for Tarkona translates to stormy weather, that his family comes from a multitude of different trades ranging from slave traders to religious missionaries. A truthsayer divined his name. There was a vision of a man traveling in a storm, on a quest, and finally a predatory creature known to prey on the the surface of Ryloth. The man and the creature were not two separate entities but the same. Though the truthsayer couldn't divine whether the creature was attacking or defending it's territory..and so the truthsayer named him after the creature in the vision. Mazer Tarkona, born into the Force, adopted by the Jedi, with the potential of light and darkness.

Physical Description: Mazer is shorter than even the other average Twi'leks of his age group. Though shorter his form is more lithe and athletically powerful. His skin is dark purple with black tiger stripe tattoos down the length of his lekku to further reflect his name. Red glaring eyes unsettle those that don't know him best and this intimidating appearance only compounds and confuses further with the serene look his jedi padawan robes reflect.
