| Great Game..... but very short. The first time i played the game i beat it in like 5 and a half hours. It is about a kid named Leo who nobody ever cared or loved him. One day a woman named Viola kills his friends (i am not sure by mistake or on purpose) and he, in his madness that it was his fault, found a orbital frame, Jehuty. He mistakenly falls in and the computer of the ship (ADA) tells him that the frame runner, has died and a raptor is about to attack them. So quickly she teaches him how to use it (in- game toturial). Then you must leave the bunker and clean out towns, citys, factorys and some other areas of enemies and sometimes do rescue missions (there are 5) some times there are bosses.... Which are quite hard the first time you fight them put after your getting your ass kicked for alittle while you figure out the AI is limited on boss fights unlike the regular enemies have great AI. Strangly when you fight Viola at the end (in both her forms) she is VERY EASY if you use the Good guns. BTW DON'T WASTE YOUR MUMMY BEFORE THE LAST BATTLE YOU MUST DISARM 3 OR 4 BOMBS AND THEY TAKE A WHILE TO DISARM SO I JUST SHOOT THEM (they only do like half your health). Well the battle sequences are VERY good, the best i have seen for awhile in a mech game. Also the controls a easy to master. The reply value is keep alive by the verses mode that gets unlocked the first time you beat the game (but you only get like 8 frames and 8 levels out of 10 you must beat the game agian to get them all). Well i would say that it's a good game PLUS in 90% of the world (so far the only place i am aware of that zoe is not coming with the MGS2 demo is in Germany and the areas around there) it comes with the SPECTACULAR METAL GEAR SOLID 2 DEMO which will add about an hour or 2 of game play the first time you play the "set".... Plus both the games have A LONG AMOUNT OF GREAT FMV sequnces. I think every PS2 owner needs to play this game.... either buy it or borrow it from a rental store/friend. It is really worth at least playing it once just for the large amount of eye candy. |
