| These are the Wiccan holidays. We usually do rituals each holiday. Mostly dancing and singing to the God and Goddess. Around the sacred circle. With the elements present and having a good time for the moon brightens these days and the life is long. So lets all get along and play some nice songs. Also some of these holidays have lore connected with them. For example Imbolc you should light a few candles and put them near the windows to welcome in the rising sun. And Ostara is the time to plant flowers and to try and pick some wildflowers to admire the natures great grace. Midsummer's night you should have a rocking party. Mabon is harvest festival so it's time to fatten up for the winter time. And halloween is time to have yet another party. Make sure to put out the pumpkins. Also leave a plate of food or candy outside your door to partake in giving to get greater gifts in the coming year. Also it's good to put a candle in the window to lead the lost souls to the sacred place you feel they should go to. |
