| Welcome and Merry Meet. This is my Wicca Page, here i will talk basicly about wicca and hope i don't get criticized if some of it is not to standard. I practice in my own ways but i basically stick to most of the wiccan standards. I am alittle older now, the intro site is alittle old, don't feel like updating my age since i'm kinda proud i started at a young age of 12. I'm 19 now and i have to be honest, school has kept me down so i couldn't really study much. But i got deeply into latly almost to the breaking point. If you know what i mean. I know quite a bit more even though i added alittle buddist philosophy to my studies. Well first let me talk about Wicca. Its a earth religon which means that we are very connected with the earth and the moon and other astronomical bodies. Most witches grow or at least buy herbs for remedies. Also we respect the God and Goddess, and i say respect instead of worship because i tend to think of them as friends. They have aided me in a tight bind many times over by just asking for help. They hold limits it seems though because at times i tried to ask for help and i needed to wait, for my fate to be ready to undertake the task at hand. How unfortunate :( Anyway some wiccans if not all of them cast things called spells. They are more powerful then what i just mentions which we can call "prayer" OR simple spells. More powerful spells need a few things. One of which is a circle. I ususally use sand or some rocks from my collection. If i can find them lol. A pentacle, it can be small. Put it in the middle of the circle. to make sure that what ever is released in the circle stays in the circle until your sure that it's what you want then you can release the pentacle and the spell will leave the circle into the modern world. Watch your words as you incante spells cuz i've made a few bad ones in my day and gave myself a year of really bad times lol. But i'm over it. And it was kinda another reason i stopped spell casting for a long time. I practiced meditating for a 2 years now and it helps me focus on my words better so not as many drift in, not perfect yet. But if your having problems with controlling your thoughts and words then i advise meditating. I'll have a section on it later in this chapter. ALSO IMPORTANT your thoughts matter also when spell casting, if they aren't possitive you might mess your spell up and have bad after effects, even though sometimes the spell works you might get a hex along side the spell. A hex is a negative spell. Beware of these they have bad consquences cuz once i cast a hex on my friend. He was being an ass. So i hexed him to move out of his house. And lo and behold he did but now we aren't really good friends anymore and so i would be careful with hexes. Even if you don't like the person it might cause a chain of events from person to person so it hurts you in the end. I always say. Look for good karma, not bad karma. But thats part of buddist philosophy so you can belive that if you wish or you can swat it like a annoying nat and try your spells. ANYWAY BACK TO THE TOPIC. You need for spells one of each element. Commonly for fire you can use a candle. Air incense. Earth, a rock or a bowl of salt or what ever you have on hand. Water a cup of water. Duh! :P Or if you want you can make it soda j/k i'd stick with regular water for best results. Elements might hold a grudge. I mean those trees always rain on me in the fall rain. Brrr cold. Musta peeled bark off to many trees when i was young or something lol. Now that you have the elements. You need to place the elements around the circle in north, south, east and west. You will need to call upon the elements. Starting with which ever you choose. But i usually pick randomly or start from the northern most one. Then you must "Call the corners" OR as others call it call the pillars of direction. To help direct your spell. So you call north, south, east and west and you can include northwest and others if you like. I haven't really done that and my spells turn out decently these days. Not so amatuer as i used to be. Some people use a wand or a dagger(called athame) to focus the spell. And i've even heard, some people use blood for spells or ritual ( which i will explain what is the difference bewteen them and spells). Although i don't advise using blood unless your like not squmish of blood letting. I'm not sure if the blood will help your spell. But if your targeting someone and you have some of their blood i'm decently sure it will target them but it might have bad intentions depending on how you got the blood and what your going to do with it. Plus i always said. Sometimes the best way to heal is to hurt. And giving up some blood in a healing spell might help heal you quicker. But it's a chancie thing. SO all in all i would not advise using blood magic. OK NOW BACK TO THE TOPIC. Rituals. They are like spells but you need special objects from time to time or do a certain dance around the circle. Depends on if it's a seasonal ritual. Or lets say invokation of the wolf spirit which i read in a book a long time ago but i didn't buy it so i forgotten so no one will be doing that ritual off my site at least :P On the next page i will go into the Wiccan holidays and explain more about divining magic.
