Children of #3:  Magdalena (Dieter) (b. 1804), Jacob, Laura (b. abt. 1808), Susanna (b. 1812 d. 1898).
At a competency hearing on Apr. 14, 1828, Catherine (Haupt) Miller stated that her father was about 80 years old.  Testimony also noted that son Henry was 50, Catherine was 45, and Jacob was 41.

Heinrich Haupt (Sr.) is believed to be Johann Heinrich Jacob Haupt (b. May 1, 1748) in Schweppenhausen, Rheinland, Preussen.  This has not been confirmed.  Schweppenhausen is a neighboring village to Windesheim.  Rev. William Henry Haupt, in his work "Haupt Family in America" 1920's, states that Heinrich Haupt was from Wuerttemberg and arrived on the ship "Nuncia" on Oct. 10, 1768.  There was no "Nuncia" on Oct. 10, 1768.  It was the "Minerva" that arrived then.  Wuerttemberg has not been confirmed.

If so, he was the son of Heinrich Haupt (b. Dec. 1693 d. Sept. 26, 1766) and Maria Christina (Seimens) Haupt (b. abt. 1717 d. May 19, 1748). They were married Aug. 27, 1742 in Schweppenhausen.

It would be a likely scenerio that son Heinrich would leave home shortly after his father's death.  He is believed to be the Heinrich who arrived on Oct. 10, 1768 on board the "Minerva".

Henry Haupt (b. abt. 1748) died intestate on Feb. 16, 1830.  His wife was already deceased.  Estate was administered by youngest son Jacob.  Son Henry (b. 1777) was very ill at the time of his father's death.  Henry, Jr. died on August 30, 1830.

Henry (b. 1777) resided in Exeter Twp., Berks County.  Jacob resided in Exeter Twp., Berks County until father's death and then moved to father's property in Birchrunville, West Vincent Twp., Chester Co., PA.
