Rev. William Henry Haupt
Gen. Haupt was also known as Lincoln's Railroad Man.  He graduated from West Point in 1835 - the youngest to ever graduate from there.  Gen. Haupt began the collection of Haupt family data.
Rev. Haupt was the family historian during the early 1900's and is largely responsible for much of the known family data.

This stone memorial is located in the old section of the cemetery at Upper Dublin Evangelical Lutheran Church (formerly known as Puff's Church) near Ambler, PA (in Montgomery County).  The large stone was excavated from the Valley Forge Military Park and dedicated in 1932 by the Colonial Haupt Association.  The more recently added bronze foot stone and tablet was added in 1996.
