Haupt Y-DNA Certificate from Family Tree DNA

If you are looking for differences between the FTDNA results and the Genebase results, there is one. For DYS #458, Genebase shows a marker value of 15 where FTDNA shows 17. When I inquired as to what would account for the difference, FTDNA indicated it depends on the protocol used by each lab for determining this marker.
Deep Clade testing with FTDNA confirms the Haplogroup to be R1b1a2a1a1b4 (updated 2/2012) (or a.k.a. R-L21). Genebase SNP test confirms R1b.
The above Y-DNA results are now confirmed to be the Y-DNA results for the Windesheim, Rheinland Haupt clan. There is now a match between two living descendants of two Haupt immigrants (Sebastian Haupt and his brother Samuel Haupt) with 25 markers involved. There was a genetic distance of 1. With 37 markers, the genetic distance was 4 between same two individuals. Sebastian's line had following marker values different from the chart above: DYS 449 = 29, DYS 456 = 16, CDY b = 39, and DYS 438 = 11. October 2009. All other markers were identical. Most recent common ancestor was 8 generations back. This genetic difference between these two illustrates how quickly some markers are able to mutate.
