Resource Page for Language Development in Children
								I developed this page to try and simplify our lives and to let you know you aren't alone.  You will find some helpful resources concerning your child's language development, suggestions in recognizing a problem with his/her language development, help in reading those cryptic evaluations, information concerning insurance coverage and denials, and information concerning your child's rights in seeking help through your local school system.  You might just find some FUN sites for the whole family, too!!!  Everyone needs some FUN now and then. Just remember...YOU will be the best resource your child will have on their journey through life.  You may have the best speech pathologist in the world--as do we in Ms. Glenda--but it is YOU who must take the ideas and information home and practice and play and make a difference in your child's development.  As with learning the ABC's or 123's, it will take an involved caretaker to assure your child's successes.  I'm sure you and your child will experience many victories.  And keep in mind my favorite quote: Courage doesn't roar...sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
