God in the Flesh

I scarify God into my flesh,
carving Him in deep-
that I might not forget Him.
I bleed out God's sacrifice,
the blood of God for me-
that I might not remain dead.
I slice the sinful skin I wear,
changing it to my new mind-
that I might know God.
I bleed, I hurt, I sear-
I am with God.
