Title: Samantha and Michael

Author's Comments: This is a picture of two of my original characters, Samantha Adams and Michael Liu. They appear in much of the original fiction stuff I've written and in the picture, they're probably about early high school age or so. Michael seems to be a little bit annoyed with something (probably Scott or Evan, two of my other fictional characters) and Sam's trying to cheer him up. Actually, that's a typical Michael face when he's not raising his eyebrow, like he is here.
Samantha cares a lot about her friends, loves to write, enjoys Shakespeare and Tolkien, is a good student, but not an overachiever (like Evan). She also is involved in the school's drama performances, loves hanging out with her friends (Scott, Michael, Evan, Tyler and Marie) and is very understanding. She also likes Michael, but she doesn't want to ruin their very close friendship.
Michael is very introverted, emotionally reserved (oftentimes either stoic or with a slight twinge of annoyance), brilliant (yet a horrible student) and a good listener. He's level-headed, rational, calculating and often the person to consider all the logistics of a situation before proposing a solution to a problem (often foiling Scott in this matter). He also enjoys Shakespeare and Tolkien, but not in the same way that Samantha does. It seems as though he likes Samantha, though he will never admit that he does.
This picture was sketched out by hand and then colored on the computer using both photoshop and paint. It took probably about nine hours to complete, though drawing Samantha was difficult, as was matching skin and hair color to what I had in mind originally. This artwork belongs to me and so do the characters. So you can't steal them.
