Searching vainly for something you can't quite identify, you come to a dismal swamp in the shadow of an ominous, craggy hill. Even in the full daylight, the place looks cold and foreboding. Steeling your resolve, you step forwards. You feel a tingling, and suddenly, day turns to night. But it is not night. It is a darkness that is beyond night. Ahead of you, backlit by a ley line you did not see before, is a ruined keep. Something tells you this it what you were looking for. Stepping onto manacured lawn instead of the marsh you expected, you approach the castle.
