| 5/14/01 We love Boo and we already love you too. Your bd buddies, bob & minnie P.S. We send our love to your mom. she must be one really good dog mom & that is a huge compliment from us. Thanks. Mommy is an okay dog mom, but she doesn't let me do everything I want to. --Merlin 5/15/01 Woof, Woof, Merlin, Your human told me you are going up to Wisconsin...But before you go I wanted to give you some pointers. As you probably know by now, your human is extremely bright. It will take a big effort on your part to keep her on her toes, but I know you can do it...watch out for mouse traps, especially those laced with peanut butter. I overheard your human say she purchased a good supply of them to bring along. I think she is aiming to keep you out of mischief...Make sure you bring enough toys and stuff to amuse yourself in the car. They will give you something to do when you are not helping your human drive. She will really love it if you help her navigate... Love, "Auntie" N. I had a great time and was actually rather good in the car. Of course I wore my seatbelt which cut down on the amount of trouble I could get into. --Merlin 6/20/01 STAY OFF THE FURNITURE!! Grandpa Grandma told Mommy I COULD sleep on the hide-a-bed when Mommy decided I couldn't sleep with Harley and his people. (of course it ended up that Grandma misunderstood the question, but it wasn't my fault or Mommy's.) --Merlin 7/18/01 Hey, great website! Loved the diary entries. A. Thanks! --Merlin 10/4/01 I just visited Merlin's website, and I thought it was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit, I have never smiled and enjoyed stories like i did yours, in such a long time. I am so happy that Merlin and yourself are doing well. I truly enjoyed all the photos as well. I have since book marked Merlin's website in my Favorites, and look forward to the ongoing saga of the both of you... Give Merlin a big hug and kiss from his "foster" mom. L. Glad you liked the page. I am enjoying my new home, but sometimes I miss having teenagers around (I try to play with the highschool kids when we are walking, but they often don't understand about my smile) Big licks to all my foster family, human, doggie and kittie! --Merlin 10/15/01 Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your webpage. I have a lab-pitbull mix who is devious, a total spaz, and just plain WONDERFUL. Her name is Lily. At any rate hope you add some new stories and pictures soon. You are the hit of my office!! B. Wow! She sounds like just the girl for me! --Merlin 12/11/01 Hello! I really enjoy your diary entries! They make me smile and laugh, but most of all, appreciate my lazy dog! Have you considered turning these into children's picture books? Thanks for all of the laughs, M.Z. I'm glad that I give you a new appreciation for your dog. Other people have suggested that I turn some of my stories into children's books but, try as I might, I can't help but eat the art supplies. --Merlin 1/24/02 Congratulations on being with your Mommy for one whole year!! I am glad to hear she is keeping you. L. Thanks for your note. I kind of suspected that Mommy was going to keep me after she survived my first two weeks of peeing, pooping and throwing up in my crate (and then rolling in the mess) every day. --Merlin 6/26/02 That report on the test was very funny. It also made me hungry. B. Sorry. Maybe if you pass a big test someone will buy you a cheeseburger too! --Merlin 6/26/02 We're so proud of you. Keep up the good work. J. 7/02/02 Congratulations, I am very proud of you. L. Thanks. It was hard work (for Mommy) but well worth the fuss Mommy made of me afterwards! --Merlin Back to Merlin's Page |
