Welcome to my collection of railway photographs.  By modern, I mean from round about the late 1980's. I hope the scenes depicted will be of some interest. Even with a period as recent as this, there are many scenes that will surely never be repeated. It is with this in mind, that I have added, a   vintage  section containing such photographs, but of a more variable quality which would not normally make it into one of the other galleries. I am also pleased that my humble collection of Class 304 and Class 141 pictures taken in the early 1990's has proved to be of some worth. At the time neither were class were given much attention, but as with many classes of train their importance only increases after withdrawal.
