| A Basic 3-Stone Reading With your stones in a pouch (or variant), state the question you wish to answer. Without looking, draw 3 stones, laying each on the table from left to right. The left stone will show what has led to the situation. The center stone will show advice on what to do. The right stone will show the future outcome based on following the advice.. |

| Yes or No Questions Ask your question. Without looking, draw a tile. Meditate on the rune and its meaning for the answer. |
| 5-Stone Reading Follow the instructions for the 3-Stone reading, but with 5. Combining the meanings of the 2 left stones will give more information on what has brought about the situation. The center stone remains advice. Combining the meanings of the 2 right stones will give more information on the future outcome. |
