My name is Rob D'Orazio and I am the current president of the Foothill Pantera chapter.  The car is a 1972, serial number 4721.  The flares are one-off fiberglass, along with the ground effect valances, and Corvette-bonded to the body.  The rear bumper and decklid spoiler are hand formed from steel, as was the molded-in front bumper.  The color is "Guards Red" from that German car company. Side marker lights have been removed, as have the door handles, which are remotely actuated by solenoids. The interior is upgraded to leather and burlwood, with the dash having an unusual horizontal row of red lit VDO gauges, which allows the radio to sit like a normal production type installation.  The car has been "street-rodded",  with a Vintage air system and an Enos wiring kit.  There is an on-board air compressor to actuate the air horns as well as fill up beach balls, etc.  Lots of other little goodies throughout...
In the engine bay, the Cleveland sports an .030 overbore, roller rockers, coated headers, a polished Weiend single plane with a 750 Holley (too big!), and the bellhousing/transaxle is a combo of paint and polish.  The car rolls on Compomotive wheels with Michelin 335/35-17's in back and 225's up front.
Though a few DeTomaso owners have seemed annoyed by it, most think it's pretty interesting and the general public really reacts positively.
Chris Darling's car as seen at the '99 Vegas Rally.  Chris would you like to add some comments ?
I'd like to add your car here.  Send a couple of jpgs, and a short description to "Prova Mo 72 @ Earthlink.net" (Remove the spaces !)
