| Moving to Bangkok,Thailand for my High School years was by far the greatest experience of my life. I met people that I will never forget (they won't let me!) and experienced things that most people never get to. The land and the people had a great influence on my life. Thailand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and the people have the biggest hearts. But what touched me most in ways I will never be able to express... were my friends. Together we had an experience that is really hard to put into words, it was more feeling...but if I had to put a word to it, it would be BOND. We bonded for life. This site is for them... My friends. I love and miss you all! After 20 years I found them again. And let me tell you...it was like we had never been without each other. Since then we have met in a different city every other year (sometimes more!) to party. And what a party!! Being 40+ and feeling 16 again is a real trip! Of course it usually takes a few weeks afterwards to recover! It all started with a few people and has grown (thanx to the Internet and the hard work of many people) to a Network of thousands. It just keeps getting bigger and better every year! Having traveled all my life, and moving every 3-4 years, I missed out on something that most people take for granted...old friends. But thanks to the need, want and the longing to belong...we found each other. We come from all walks of life and from every corner of the world, but the love we have for each other is unconditional! That, I believe, is what makes us special. |
