Riley 9 Kestrel
A Restoration Diary

The lack of recent updates is due to the digital camera breaking. I was waiting to see if it would be repaired quickly but it doesn't look like it, so I'll just do a written update.

Since the last update, the engine has been re-installed. A 12/4 type dip-pipe and conventional float and sender has been installed in the fuel tank. The fuel line and rear wiring loom has been laid in and clipped.

The rear floorpan was corroded by electrolytic action but has now been coated in rubberised sealant and is waiting to be re-installed.

Unfortunately, progress has been slow due to the dismal weather. However, it is hoped that the body will be back on by the end of the Christmas break
