Amy finds the team and asks for their help. After that mission, Amy is hooked and goes on to become an invaluable member of the team.
Her specialist skills are reporting and she adds much needed femininity to the team. If they need a pretty girl to distract men, they send in Amy.
Amy is my favourite female member of the team, and she is heads above Frankie Santana.

Amy first finds the team in the pilot episode. They help her find her missing friend and introduce her to "the jazz", something which she becomes addicted to.
Children of Jamestown (Season 1)
A wonderful Amy episode because when she is kidnapped there is a heart-wrenching heart-to-heart between her and the team. Wonderful for that reason alone.
