Half-white, half Kiowa. His mother was Kiowa, and was raped by a white man. He was born in a Kiowa village, where he had a half brother named Red Bear. He was hated and scorned by other members of his tribe and so he fled to a mission school. There he met his best friend Ike. Sometime after they left they came upon the job of Express Riders and the rest is history....
