With three episodes starring the characters Trunks and Piccolo, this tape is sure to please any Dragonball Z fan, as it features some of the more hilarious and tension-filled moments of the series. In "Seized with Fear," the strange objects found near Trucks's time machine can only provide a clue as to what dangers are yet to come. As if that weren't enough, androids have arrived on Earth and are looking to start a reign of terror. The next episode, "The Reunion," could easily be subtitled "When Insectoid Reptilian Warrior Siblings with Hypodermic Tails Attack!" In Gingertown, a monster has devoured all of the citizens, sucking them flesh and bone out of their clothes and into itself for use as power. Our stalwart hero Piccolo arrives--after having fused with Kami--to discover a terrible secret about the monster in question. Finally, "Borrowed Powers" focuses on the epic battle between Piccolo and a monster named Cell in the deserted streets of Gingertown. Trunks and Gohan arrive to witness the end of the fight. While the episodes occasionally feature stunted and disjoined action, as well as the hilarious but quite politically incorrect character of Mr. Po-Po, youngsters age 7 and older should be drawn into the stories and characters of this animated adventure. The uncut version contains four additional minutes of fighting not seen in the episodes that appear on American television. --Zachary Lively
From the back cover
"Seized with Fear"
Trunks and Krillin join Bulma at the crash site of the mysterious time capsule and find an eerie clue--the shell of a large, locust-like creature! Whatever arrived in the time capsule isn't human, and it's on the loose! Can our heroes solve this mystery and halt the approaching androids at the same time?
It's doomsday in Gingertown, a quiet city near the crash site of the time capsule. A monster with the appearance of an insect has unleashed its powers, turning Gingertown into a ghostly grave! In response to this new menace, Kami finally fuses with Piccolo, and the new Super Namek flies to Gingertown for a showdown of epic proportions!
The deserted streets of Gingertown become a battlefield as the powered-up Piccolo confronts this terror from the future. The monster's name is Cell, and he gains strength from sucking the life out of his victims! But that's not the only secret the creature reveals. Somehow, he also knows Goku's special attack, the Kamehameha!
Imperfect Cell BABY!
Perhaps the best saga ever made has finally come! To make it short, I'll tell you about the good stuff. Trunks & Gohan discover Cell's egg, then his transport body, & the time machine thatCell stole from Trunks. Oh yeah, kame joins with Piccolo. In the next episode, Piccolo goes down & meets Cell. They show him suck a fat guy up. Pretty cool if you ask me! And it becomes a battle where Cell uses the Special Beam Cannon, & the wicked kamehamema. Then, the military gets involved which is quite funny. Oh, & the androids, they are still on the road.

Not so bad
This was alright, but it could have been a little better. If it weren't for the last episode I wouldn't have gotten this tape. The first twp episode's were kind of boring. You do get to see Cell for the first time at the end of the second episode. The last episode was better mainly because it was Piccolo's first fight as a Super Namek. Though you don't find out anything about Cell at all. I hope the next tape will be better.
